Kare raisu (Japanese-style curry) with cauliflower rice

Sweetly spiced curry

 200 kcal   happyfacenobackground happyfacenobackground    VE


Flavours: ½ tbsp light dark sauce, 1 tbsp mild curry powder, ginger, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, small garlic clove, S/P

Bulk: medium white onion, medium/60g golden delicious apple, 150g carrot, 50g frozen garden peas, 300g cauliflower rice (see food prep technicalities), 1 tbsp cornstarch in ¼ cup water

Jazzy: raisins, celery (sliced and put in boiled with carrots)


Lets cook: Boil the carrots in 2 cups of water for 5 minutes on high heat in a pan. Then add the garlic, ginger, onion, curry powder, apple, tom sauce and soy sauce. Cook for a further 5 minutes. Add the peas and cornstatch and cook for a further 7 minutes or until desired sauce thickness, stirring frequently. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, microwave the cauliflower, plate up.
